The Non-Resident Nepali Social Club Oman is a non-political, non-profit social organization. It is the Oman Chapter of the global Nepali organization, the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA). Established in 2009, the institution has successfully conducted its 8th convention. Guided by the NRNA’s main motto, “For Nepalese, by Nepalese,” it remains unwaveringly dedicated to social service. Having completed 8 terms, this organization actively serves Nepalese residing in Oman and also extends support to the homeland (Nepal) whenever necessary.

Due to the growing population of Nepalese in Oman and to address their issues legally, the organization was also registered locally in 2017. This has made it easier to collaborate with local authorities when Nepalese face problems and to organize programs in a lawful manner.

While respecting local religion and culture, the institution regularly organizes various Nepali art and cultural programs. Furthermore, it organizes inter-Nepali sports events and coordinates with other clubs in Oman to participate in club-level sports competitions.

In cases where Nepalese in Oman face emergencies, the organization forms rapid relief rescue committees to provide immediate assistance. It collaborates with the Nepali Embassy in Muscat, Oman, to safeguard the interests and well-being of Nepalese, organizing free health check-up campaigns on a regular basis. The institution also cooperates and coordinates with other active associations and organizations in Oman.
